Aone Aquaponics, China's leading aquaponic and aeroponic innovators and producers, wished to create an ecological center which acted as a living museum to inspire people from the city to reconnect to nature. The site welcomes day visitors, summer campers and seasonal residents to come and take part in immersed ecological living.

After careful analysis of the site and climate, a design was developed that intimately responded to surrounding conditions. All energy and food needed is produced on site. All solid and water waste is recycled using innovative composting and phyto-filtration techniques and reused in agricultural processes.

One of the main features on site is an integrated greenhouse design which functions as a productive agriculture space in addition to being a restaurant, learning center and activity space.
