This gallery hosts numerous historic artifacts from the neolithic Hemudu (5500 BC) and Liangzhu (3400 BC) cultures, which were discovered in the surrounding hills. The space is organized as a circuit of sequenced display cases, arranged by date, letting visitors take a tour through history. The looped building encourages views out across the landscape where the relics were unearthed. At the center is a secluded courtyard to reflect and relax.
